Mr. and Mrs. Paul Craine of Port Orange, Fla., and Dr. Cynthia Baker and Mr. William Ragsdale of Denham Springs are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Jamie Lee Craine and Blake Alan Baker.
They will be united in holy matrimony on Saturday, June 18, in New Orleans at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Tom Ranzino.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Fla. She attended Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga., on a soccer scholarship and graduated with a degree in Biology. In 2015, she graduated as a doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in St Kitts, West Indies. She is working as a relief veterinarian at day clinics and emergency clinics in Savannah and surrounding areas.
The groom-elect is a 2008 graduate of St Michael’s High School and a graduate of Louisiana State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in French. Blake currently attends the University of Medicine and Health Sciences located in the West Indies on the island of St Kitts. He will spend time in Portland, Maine, for pre-clinical training before joining Jamie in Savannah, Ga., for his clinical years of medical school.
After a wedding reception at the Aquarium of Americas where they will scuba dive in the fish tank, they plan to honeymoon in Key West, Fla.
