Haley Elizabeth Banks of Albany and Travis Scott Taylor of Franklinton were united in marriage on May 21, 2016, at Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church in Franklinton. Brother Lavon Taylor officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony. A reception was held at The Meeting Room at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton. 

The bride is the daughter of Edna Spring of Albany and Harold Banks of Tickfaw. She is the granddaughter of Leon and Mary Ann Hinson, the late Estelle Fendlason and the late Roddy Spring Sr. The groom is the son of Scott and Lamanda Taylor of Franklinton. He is the grandson of Brother Lavon and Mrs. Pat Taylor, Mrs. Lazette Brumfield and the late Leo Brumfield.

The bride was attended by Maid of Honor Emily Fekete. Bridesmaids were Tabatha Cooper, Shayla Cooper and Hana Dufrene. The groom was attended by Best Man Jacob Taylor. Groomsmen were Parker White, Britt Watson and John Sasser. Ushers were Austin Knight and Caymen Taylor.

The bride is a 2015 graduate of Albany High School. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Franklinton High School. The groom is employed as an Assistant Manager at Jack Brown’s. 

The wedding trip was to Tennessee. The couple will reside in Franklinton.
