LIVINGSTON -- A westbound lane of Interstate 12 will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation & Development, to repair a pothole.

The outside travel lane of I-12 westbound will be closed from three miles west of the Livingston interchange at La. 63 to one mile east of the Holden interchange at La. 441, said Kris Wascom, DOTD project engineer in Hammond.

One lane will remain open at all times, Wascom said.

Motorists may take U.S. 190 as an alternate route to avoid the lane closure, he said.
