LIVINGSTON -- Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard identified a second suspect in the slaying of Corey Graham on Wednesday and that he is in custody.
Tremal L. Scott, 26, 4728 Greenridge Drive, Baton Rouge, faces counts of first-degree murder and armed robbery in the Jan. 18 incident, Ard said.
Scott is in another facility being held on charges unrelated to the shooting, the sheriff said.
“These felony warrants were issued relative to the shooting incident on Monroe Perkins Road in Denham Springs,” Ard said. “This is the second suspect identified in this case.
“The pieces of this case are coming together thanks to the countless hours put in by my dedicated detectives and our citizens choosing to work with us,” he said.
