A ceremony celebrating the life of Mrs. Charleene Ann King was held Sunday, Aug. 7, at Fundamental Baptist Church, South Frost Road in Livingston. Interment followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Church Funeral Services of Livingston Parish. Mrs. King was born on March 14, 1942, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and passed from this life on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at North Oaks Medical Center Hammond at the age of 74. She was a longtime resident of Livingston Parish, a retired registered nurse and served with the United States Navy. She is survived by her children, Charles and Danielle Howington, Byron and Shawn Rawles, Tracy and Katherine Watts; sisters, Pan Dennison and Judy Wintemate; grandchildren, chaise, Madeleine, Corey, Jacob, Matthew, David, Callie, Benjamin, Adam, Emily, Jonathan, Anna, Aaron, Cayson, Elizabeth and Ann Claire; great-grandchildren. Makenna, Morgann, Micaiah, Merrick, Dakota, Rennington, Avery, Camden, Rebecca, Sarah, Elizabeth, Ann Ruth, Laurali, Emmaline, Adelynn and Hadley; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Merriel and Helen Leah Rowell Jury.
