A ceremony celebrating the life of Mr. Michael L. Triche will be held at 11 am Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church French Settlement with visitation beginning at 9 am until time of the service. Mr. Triche was born on September 11, 1948 and passed from this life on Monday January 2, 2017 at the Southeastern Louisiana War Veterans Home at the age of 68 years. He was a resident of Livingston, a retired carpenter and served in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his mother Edna Trosclair Triche; brother Sidney Triche; daughter, Courtney Triche; and grandson, Reese J. Shaffett. Survivors include his wife, Yvette Triche; mother of his children, Arleen Roper and husband Mike; father Larry Triche and companion Nora Peyregne; daughter Laurie Lobell and Brian; son Ernest Triche; grandchildren Whitney Lobell, Briana Lobell, Noah Shaffett, Lorel House and Gabrielle House; also survived by nieces and nephews.
