Mr. and Mrs. Keith Alton Byrd of Denham Springs, Louisiana are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Renee Byrd, to Albert Kyzar Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Cox of Tallulah, Louisiana and Mr. James Albert Martin of Tallulah.
The wedding will take place on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at The Berry Barn in Amite, Louisiana.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Larry and Dorothy Kinlaw of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Tilman and the late Doris Byrd of Denham Springs. Lindsey is a graduate of Denham Springs High School and Baton Rouge Community College. She is currently employed by Coastal Process, LLC. as a project manager.
Her fiancé is the grandson of Theodore and the late Betty Orjias of Tallulah, Louisiana, John Earl and the late Helen Martin of Tallulah and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Cox of Tallulah. He is a graduate of Tallulah Academy and Baton Rouge Community College. He is currently employed by T. Baker Smith, LLC. as a crew chief.
An engagement party was held Dec. 10, 2016 at the home of Edna Ayliffe Latchem in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana.
