Keagan Stoan Furlong

Keagan Stoan Furlong, a 22-year-old U Soldier pic.jpg.S. Army National Guard veteran who died unexpectedly on May 7, will arrive in Denham Springs on Friday, May 17.

Family and friends are asking that people line Range Avenue in a show of support for Furlong, who passed away at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He will be flown into New Orleans around 4 p.m. Friday and then be transported to Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs.

The son of Jonathan Furlong and Monica Parker, Keagan Furlong grew up in Denham Springs before he and his father moved to Mountain View, Arkansas, when he was 16. In high school, Keagan played football and baseball.

Keagan graduated from Mountain View High School in 2016 and attended National Park College in Hot Springs, Arkansas, before making the decision to join the service. He was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, at the time of his passing.

A memorial service for Keagan is scheduled for 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at Seale Funeral Home.
