DENHAM SPRINGS –Detectives from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit arrested a Denham Springs man March 14 on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.
The arrest of Jesse Sloane II, 56, was the culmination of a probe that began in January when LSP detectives conducted proactive investigations online to combat human trafficking and sharing of child pornography, according to Trooper Bryan Lee of the Louisiana State Police.
Bond was preset at $13.1 million on Jesse Sloane, 56, was arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on130 counts of possession of Child Pornography and one count of Distribution of Child Pornography (Under Age 13). The case remains under investigation and additional charges are pending.
Sloane shared a child pornography video with the detectives during the course of their investigations, Lee said.
The Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit, with the assistance of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations, the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations and the Denham Springs Police Department executed a search warrant at Sloane’s Denham Springs residence.
