After delighting people in the southern end of the parish, Knox the miniature horse will head north for his next stop.
Knox, a certified therapy horse owned by Watson native Milissa Davis, will visit the Watson Branch of the Livingston Parish Library on Saturday, Sept. 15.
The event, slated to run from 2-3 p.m., is open to children ages 3-11, and registration is required. The Watson Branch is located at 36581 Outback Road.
The popular “Pony Tales” program will include a story and a craft alongside Knox, the 28-month-old, 120-pound, sneaker-wearing mini-horse who came from a breeder near Dallas and now spends his time entertaining at libraries, hospice centers, and in individual settings.
Knox recently visited patrons of the LPL’s South Branch on Saturday, Sept. 8.
