The City of Walker has signed a contract to replace these three culverts that drain Dumpling Creek under the Canadian Northern Railroad tracks near Keith Street.

WALKER – A contract has been signed to replace the Keith Street bridge, Chief of Operations Jamie Etheridge told the Walker City Council on Monday, April 8.

The contractor is in the process of ordering construction materials, Etheridge said. Once the materials arrive, he has a 30-day contract to do the work.

“It should take less than 30 days with good weather," Etheridge said.

The bridge handles Dumpling Creek, which also goes under the Canadian Northern Railroad tracks parallel to Keith Street, although it is technically not a bridge, Etheridge has said.

Three culverts handle the water flow and need to be replaced.
