Early Voting

LIVINGSTON – Early voting continues through April 28 for seven Livingston Parish precincts which will vote on 10-year renewal of a 10-mill property tax for Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 2.

Early voting will be held only at the Livingston Parish Registrar of Voters Office from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. every day but Sunday up until the cutoff date, Registrar of Voters Jared Andrews said.

The millage is the only item on the ballot.

Fire Protection District 2 covers 144-square-mile district. It includes Springfield, Killian, Colyell Landing and all waterways within the area.

The millage generates approximately $300,000 annually.

The Registrar of Voters Office is located on 29938 South Magnolia Ave., in Livingston.
