DENHAM SPRINGS – An annual tradition returns to areas of Livingston Parish after an absence last year.
Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 5 will bring Santa Claus to neighborhoods throughout its area tonight (Dec. 4) between the hours of 6:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
“We’re glad to be able to bring back this annual tradition, something we couldn’t do last year when so many people were still out of their homes due to the flood,” District 5 Fire Chief Joe Koczrowski said.
South area visits – from U.S. 190 toward the Amite River – will include stops at Livingston Manor, Plantation South Apartments, Vincent Road from Range Avenue to Pete’s Highway, Vincent Drive, LaPlace Subdivision, Porrier Lane, Pete’s Highway from Vincent Road to Interstate 12, Shadow Springs Estates and Lake Park D.
North area visits – from U.S. 190 extending to the Watson area – will include Magnolia Beach Road, Live Oak Trace Apartments, Magnolia Garden Court, Plainview Cemetery Road, Thunderbird Beach Road up to Amite Church Road, Linda Lee Subdivision, Amite Church Road, Acadiana Subdivision/La. 16 from Amite Church Road to Lockhart Road, Allen Drive, Hidden Oaks Apartments and Magnolia Farms Subdivision.
