BATON ROUGE – Louisiana State Police troopers are responding to reports of multiple cars getting flat tires on Interstate 12 between Walker and Hammond.

Nails appear to be the cause of the flats, according to State Trooper Bryan Lee, Troop A spokesman.

He did not say if it was a problem on both eastbound and westbound sides of I-12.

Capt. John Sharp, Walker police spokesman, said city units were dispatched to check the interstate near Walker, but found nothing on the highways.
