Alice “Billie” Lott, a resident of Walker, passed away at her home early Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at the age of 86. She retired from the Hammond State School where she was a caregiver for over sixteen years. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, from 5-9 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday will resume at 8 a.m. Pastor Louis Harrell will conduct funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Earl Lott Family Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Julius Lott; son, Thomas Lott and wife Shanna; three daughters, Doris Lott, Sandra Lott Gardiner and husband Jerry, and Faye Lott; five grandchildren, Joyelle Silverblatt and husband Mike, Sgt. Loran “Mickey” Lott, William Gardiner and wife Kyra, Amy Vazquez and husband Jose, and Angel McGough; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma “Jackie” Blount; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Metz and Maggie Lee; two brothers, Hollis “Butch” Lee and AJ Lee; and sister, Rosa “Mullie” Cantrell. Billie was a very loving, devoted and protective mother. She loved to cook and Sunday dinner was her jewel, no one left hungry and everyone had something special prepared just for them. She loved to RV and traveled from the bright lights of New York City to the Rocky Mountains, and even fulfilling her childhood dream of visiting Niagara Falls in 2007.
