“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21. Alyce Adams of Denham Springs and Amite Baptist Church stepped into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on April 14, 2021, at the age of 97. She is survived by her sons, David Adams, Lee Adams, and Dan Adams; her daughter Gail Jacobsen; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Tom Adams. She was a vital part of his missionary efforts for 60 years. A memorial service is planned for April 24, 2021, at 12 p.m. (noon) at Amite Baptist Church in Denham Springs. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. until the memorial service. Earnest Graham will preside over the memorial service. Friends and past or present members of Amite Baptist are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, mourners are asked to donate to Mission Dignity.
