Pamela Elofson Epker, a resident of Walker, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at the age of 71. Pamela was born on Oct. 3, 1947, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. She married her husband of 56 years, Douglas Elofson, at the age of 14. Together, they had six children, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, with one on the way. Pamela is survived by her husband, Douglas Elofson; children, Richard Elofson, Randell Elofson, Robin Elofson, Shawna Delanoix, Dranda Arnold, and Amber Botty; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandra Whisenhunt. She is preceded in death by Cletus Stanley Epker, Velda Margaret Helms Epker, and Dixie Hickman Epker. Pamela was a wonderful wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her. Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin & Manley Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Walker, Louisiana.
