(Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe), a national defensive driving program founded by drag racing champion Doug Herbert, is dedicated to preparing teens for real-world driving challenges.
Kia has supported the B.R.A.K.E.S. program for 12 years, providing a fleet of vehicles to help expand the program's reach across the country. An independent study from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte shows that B.R.A.K.E.S. graduates are 64% less likely to be involved in a crash within their first three years of driving. Over 150,000 teens and parents have already participated in this life-saving program.
