French Settlement came up short to Kinder, 49-48, in the bi-district round of the Division III playoffs at home on Feb. 28.

Springfield was defeated by Winnfield, 83-59, in the opening round of the Division III state playoffs on the road Feb. 28.

Doyle advanced to the regional round of the Division III state playoffs with a 49-48 win over No. 16 Green Oaks on the road Feb. 28.

Live Oak was defeated by Neville, 82-65, in the first round of the Division I postseason on the road Feb. 28.

Albany struggled early and late, but in between, the Hornets put on a show in a historic victory over Broadmoor, 80-56, in the opening round of the Division II state playoffs at home Feb. 28.

Albany’s Antoine Taylor and Denham Springs’ Courtney Smith both came in third place in their event Indoor Track/Field championships that was held at the LSU Field House on Feb. 22.

Maurepas defeated Northside Christian, 48-19, in the bi-district round of the Class C state playoffs at home on Feb. 27.

Albany reached the state tournament by defeating second-seeded North Vermilion, 44-37, on the road Feb. 27 in the quarterfinal round of the Division II state playoffs.

French Settlement suffered a heartbreaking loss, 39-37, to Westlake in the quarterfinal round of the Division III playoffs.

Denham Springs was defeated by defending state champion and top-seeded Parkway, 36-22, in the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs on the road Feb. 27.

Walker is headed to the state tournament for the fourth-straight year after a 47-30 victory over No. 10 Sulphur at home on Feb. 27.

Doyle is headed back to the state tournament.
