Maurepas’ Jordyn Pickrell scored 30 points, helping the Lady Wolves defeat Lycee Francais de la Nouvelle Orleans, 64-13, in a road game held on Jan. 6.

Maurepas was defeated by St. Charles, 49-11, in a road game on Jan. 2.

Walker continues to roll

Walker continued its undefeated season, increasing its record to 21-0 after winning all three games in the White Castle Tournament that was held Jan. 2-4.

Albany went 3-0 in the St. Charles Tournament, while Denham Springs and Maurepas posted a 2-1 mark in the event that was held Jan. 2-4.

French Settlement came in second place at the French Settlement Classic after a 60-35 loss to Parkview Baptist in the finals of the event that was held Jan. 2-4.

Doyle won the French Settlement Classic after defeating French Settlement, 51-39, in the title game on Jan. 4.

Four Livingston Parish volleyball players made are first-team all-district for the 5-I league.

Albany’s Savannah Camarata was victorious in the Louisiana Public School Wrestling Championships that were held at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzalez on Dec. 27-28.

Live Oak’s Billy Edmonston was victorious in the 2024 Louisiana Public School Wrestling Championships that was held Dec. 27-28 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

Denham Springs captured both games in the Brusly Tournament that took place Dec. 30-31.

Springfield's White is District 7-IV MVP

Springfield’s Mary White is the District 7-IV Most Valuable Player, Doyle’s Faith Bridges is the league’s top offensive player and Doyle’s Ashlie Byrnes is the Coach of the Year.

Walker’s Abbi Whitton scored five goals in an 8-0 victory over Hammond on the road on Dec. 30.

Walker goes 3-0 in Alexandria Tournament

Walker won all three games in the Alexandria Tournament that was held Dec. 27-28.

Walker went 1-1, while Live Oak was defeated in its three games of the Episcopal Tournament that was held Dec. 27-28.

French Settlement was defeated by Slidell and French Settlement in road games that took place Dec. 27 and 30.

Denham Springs continues to roll

Denham Springs continued to its great start to the season, going 3-0 in the St. Louis Catholic Tournament that was held Dec. 26-28 and increased their record to 16-0.

Albany was victorious in both of their games at the Hammond Tournament that took place Dec. 27-28.
