LIVINGSTON -- Jehovah-Jireh held Doyle to eight points in the fourth quarter to pick up a 50-43 win Tuesday in a tuneup as both teams gear up for the playoffs.
The Warriors, who came into the game at the No. 1 team in the Division V power rankings, outscored the Tigers (16-16) 17-8 in the fourth quarter, going 10-for-15 from the free-throw line.
Doyle grabbed a 35-33 lead heading into the fourth quarter as five players scored in the third quarter, including 3-pointers by Tristan Jones and Hunter Stovall and a pair of baskets from Landon Wascom.
Wascom scored 9 of his team-high 13 points in the first quarter as the Tigers trailed 12-11 and 24-21 at halftime.
Deon Landor, Kade Lewis and Jones each added 7 points for Doyle. Jones also had 12 rebounds.
Donald Johnson had 20 points to lead Jehovah-Jireh, while Jaron Davis added 13.
