HAMMOND -- The Southeastern Louisiana football team’s first four games this season will air on various ESPN platforms, the Southland Conference announced  Thursday.

The Lions’ season opener at ULM on Aug. 30 and SLU’s home and conference opener versus defending Southland champion Central Arkansas will air on ESPN+. Both games are set to kickoff at 7 p.m.

Southeastern’s Sept. 8 game at LSU will air on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. On Sept. 22, the Lions open their conference road schedule at Lamar in a game set for ESPN3 broadcast. Both the LSU game and the Lamar contest kick off at 6 p.m.

For games in the remaining weeks, the Southland Conference will reveal its television selections 12 days prior to kickoff, allowing for the best matchups to be selected each week for various broadcast partners.

SLU returns to the practice field on Friday at 9 a.m. at Strawberry Stadium.
