American Idol's John Foster added to the Cajun Country Jam lineup

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — Louisiana native and American Idol Season 23 runner-up John Foster is set to make his first public appearance since the show's finale at the Cajun Country Jam Memorial Day Festival. The festival will take place from May 23 to May 25 at Pards North Park in Denham Springs, with Foster scheduled to perform on Sunday and possibly Saturday. 

Foster, an 18-year-old college freshman from Addis, Louisiana, captured national attention with his heartfelt performances and original songwriting during his time on American Idol. His original song, "Tell That Angel I Love Her," written in memory of his friend Maggie Dunn, resonated deeply with audiences.

In a social media post, Foster expressed his gratitude to fans and shared his excitement about performing at the Cajun Country Jam. He also offered a promotional code, FOSTER, for a 50% discount on tickets.

The Cajun Country Jam Memorial Day Festival is a three-day event celebrating Louisiana's rich musical heritage. General admission tickets are priced at $75, with additional parking passes required.

Foster's appearance at the festival marks an important milestone in his burgeoning music career, as he continues to build on the momentum from his American Idol journey.
