CROWLEY -- Maurepas pitchers McKenna Lessard and Kaylynn Vicknair combined on a three-hitter as the Lady Wolves scored a 7-0 win over Northside Christian on Tuesday.
Maurepas broke the game open with six runs in the 3rd, highlighted by a double from Vicknair and a triple from Keegan Marchand. The Lady Wolves picked up the game's final run in the 6th.
Lessard struck out two while giving up no hits and no walks in two innings as the Maurepas starter. Vicknair gave up three hits, two walks and struck out three in five innings of relief for the win.
Vicknair was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored and Hannah Gautreau went 1-for-2 with a run scored to lead Maurepas, which had six hits.
