LIVINGSTON -- District Attorney Scott Perrilloux reports the following individuals appeared in 21st Judicial District Court in March and pleaded either guilty or no contest or were found guilty of the following crimes and received the following sentences:

 March 5

Judge Elizabeth Wolfe

Todd Barlow, 48, of Livingston, pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to 2 years with the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 2 years. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine along with court costs.

Samuel Barrera Jr., 36, of Harlingen, Texas, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 10 days. He received credit for time served.

Jonathan Beasley, 30, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances and 2 counts of theft. He was sentenced to 2 years with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

Kyle Benoit, 25, of Maurepas, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse battery -  strangulation. He was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 1 year. He was ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

John Coxe III, 35, of Baton Rouge, pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule I controlled dangerous substances and possession of Schedule III controlled dangerous substances - buprenorphine. He was sentenced to 5 years with the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 3 years. He was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine along with court costs.

Grady Goodwin, 30, of St. Amant, pleaded no contest to unlawful use or possession of body armor and theft of $1,000 or more. He was sentenced to 1 year with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

John Hyde, 46, of Baton Rouge, pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances and possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to 1 year with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

Joshua Hurbin, 32, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to 1 year with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jacob Poche, 24, of Walker, pleaded no contest to possession of pornography involving juveniles and video voyeurism sexual intent. He was sentenced to 5 years with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

Jacob Poche, 24, of Walker, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 10 days in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Gwenda Scott, 59, of Livingston, pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances. She was sentenced to 1 year with the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for 1 year.

James Scott, 36, of Livingston, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse battery. He was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Kaleb Verdin, 19, of Walker, pleaded no contest to criminal trespassing, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 22 days in the parish jail.

Michael Kennedy, 64, of Livingston, pleaded no contest to second offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 2 years. He was ordered to pay all fines and court costs.

Dustin Miller, 18, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to 44 counts of simple burglary, 5 counts of attempted simple burglary and 1 count of theft. He was sentenced to 6 years with the Department of Corrections for each count. Time is to be served concurrently.

Michael Bacon, 36, of St. Amant, pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances. He was sentenced to 5 years with the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 3 years. He was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine along with court costs.

Jimmy Bowlin, 38, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to indecent behavior with a juvenile. He was sentenced to 10 years with the Department of Corrections. Time is to be served without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.

Drake Davis, 23, of Baton Rouge, pleaded no contest to illegal possession of stolen firearms. He was sentenced to 3 years with the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 3 years. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine along with court costs.

Kenneth Donahue, 40, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated and resisting an officer. He was sentenced to 5 months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Wendy Gremillion, 39, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to simple battery. She was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for 2 years. She was ordered to pay a $300 fine along with court costs.

Kristen Hardy, 29, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to forgery. She was sentenced to 5 years with the Department of Corrections. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for 3 years. She was ordered to pay a $500 fine along with court costs and restitution.

Musial Hebert Jr., 30, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, domestic abuse battery and hit-and-run. He was sentenced to 6 years with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

Christopher Hendry, 31, of Holden, pleaded no contest to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to 1 year with the Department of Corrections. He received credit for time served.

James Henley, 35, of Walker, pleaded no contest to first offense driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 2 years. He was ordered to pay a fine of $984 along with court costs.

Samuel Henries, 30, of Clinton, pleaded no contest to simple burglary. He was sentenced to 6 years with the Department of Corrections. He received for time served.

Anthony Lewis, 47, of Denham Springs, pleaded no contest to simple battery. He was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.

Dustin Malone, 33, of Maurepas, pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances and simple assault. He was sentenced to 3 years with the Department of Corrections.

Michael Petsch, 52, of Maurepas, pleaded no contest to domestic abuse battery and simple battery. He was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail for each count. He received credit for time served.

Anthony Watts, 48, of Walker, pleaded no contest to simple battery and 2 counts of simple assault. He was sentenced to 9 months in the parish jail. He received credit for time served.
