LIVINGSTON – Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a Denham Springs man sought in a burglary investigation, according to a sheriff’s spokesman.

Detectives have an active warrant for Jake Raybon, 24, for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, said Lori Steele, sheriff’s spokesman.

“We don’t believe this suspect to be armed and dangerous at this time. He was last seen wearing only shorts,” Sheriff Jason Ard said.

He was spotted along Walker South Road recently, Steele said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (225) 686-2241 ext. 1 or Greater Baton Rouge Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP (7867).
