Bojangles, the legendary, Carolina-born chain celebrated for its iconic chicken and biscuits, is combining sweet and savory with the Sausage Bo-Berry® Biscuit. The Sausage Bo-Berry Biscuit pairs country-style sausage with Bojangles' signature made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit, stuffed with sweet Bo-Berries® and finished with a touch of sweet icing. The new item blends two fan favorites, the classic Bo-Berry Biscuit and Bojangles' sausage biscuit, into one handheld breakfast.
"The Sausage Bo-Berry Biscuit was born from our customers. They were ordering the sausage biscuit but subbing in the Bo-Berry Biscuit in place of our regular buttermilk biscuits for a sweet spin on the classic,” said Marshall Scarborough, Vice President of Menu and Culinary Innovation at Bojangles. "So, we listened to them and added it to the menus for everyone to enjoy."
To celebrate the menu addition and the start of a new school year, Bojangles is surprising local teachers with "Back-to-School on Bo." In the weeks surrounding the launch, Bojangles is personally delivering Sausage Bo-Berry Biscuits to deserving teachers from schools across its footprint, thanking educators for their selfless work as they head back into the classroom.
