Nearly 200 women filled the lobby of the North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex in Satsuma Saturday for the first Bingo & Beauty Luncheon. Local physicians called Bingo with a twist: Women's health tips were sprinkled in among the numbers. Guests played Bingo for door prizes and also were treated to a complimentary spring lunch with "mocktails," and health screenings. They took advantage of blood pressure checks, balance screenings, chair massages and paraffin wax treatments). Simultaneously, a plant and jewelry sale benefitted OPTIONS, a non-profit organization that provides services to those with disabilities.
