Albany, La. — Bojangles, the iconic Southern chain known for its crispy chicken, flaky biscuits, and legendary iced tea, is officially open for business in Louisiana.
The new restaurant, located at 28509 LA Hwy 43 in Albany, welcomed its first customers bright and early on Tuesday, August 19 at 5 a.m.
Founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1977, Bojangles has built a loyal following across the Southeast and beyond with its hand-breaded chicken, scratch-made biscuits, Cajun Pintos, Dirty Rice, and other beloved "fixins." The Albany location marks the brand’s first foray into Louisiana as part of its broader national expansion, which has recently included new restaurants in New Jersey, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.
“We are ecstatic to introduce Bojangles to the Bayou and bring our unique Southern charm to Albany,” said Jose Armario, CEO of Bojangles. “Our recent expansions have been met with tremendous enthusiasm, and we are confident that the Albany community will embrace our delicious offerings with the same excitement.”
