A sprawling estate in the gated Harrells Ferry Landing community off 4-H Club Road in Denham Springs has sold for $4,995,000, making it the most expensive residential home sale in Livingston Parish history, according to MLS data.

The property at 23982 Ferry Landing Dr. sits on 18.5 wooded acres and offers nearly 9,850 square feet of living space designed with what the listing describes as European flair. The two-story home, built in 2017, features five bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath, along with three additional half baths.

The home was designed by Kenneth Brown, a Southern designer with an extensive portfolio, and features handmade lighting by Los Angeles artisan Paul Ferrante, hand-painted wallpaper, exposed trusses and beams, an ombre stair runner, and hexagon basket weave wood flooring throughout.

Beyond the primary living spaces, the home includes a home theater, studio and gym, craft room, private chapel, and a 500-bottle wine room. Outdoor amenities include a custom pool, an outdoor room with phantom screens, a hand-cut limestone fountain and a porte cochere with a four-car garage. The property has water views and sits lakefront.

The home sold fully furnished.

The seller was represented by Brittney Pino of PINO & Associates Real Estate. The buyer was represented by Jonathan Starns of United Properties. The sale closed Wednesday.
