LIVINGSTON PARISH — A theft investigation at a convenience store off S. Frost Road this week led to one arrest and two suspects being sought in connection with stolen property and copper wire theft, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Jason Ard said deputies responded to the store after learning that an unknown man exited a red SUV behind the business and took two metal wagons valued at approximately $250 each. The wagons were stored behind the store.
While investigating the theft, deputies also discovered a separate incident involving stolen AT&T copper wire in the same area. Authorities estimated the combined damage and theft at approximately $15,000.
Following further investigation, detectives identified three suspects: Raymond Hendry, who is currently in custody, and Jonathan Boudreaux and Stacy Carpenter, who are both wanted in connection with the thefts.
Ard said Hendry was located in Tangipahoa Parish and booked on multiple charges. Deputies are continuing efforts to locate Boudreaux and Carpenter.
The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing and thanked the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office for its assistance.
