Walker High School’s MCJROTC Raider A-Team earns national championship honors in Georgia

WALKER, La. — The Walker High School MCJROTC Raider A-Team brought home national honors this weekend, earning the title of All-Service Raider National Champions in the Co-Ed Masters Division at the national competition held in Molena, Georgia.

The event featured the top Raider teams from military programs across the country, representing all service branches. Walker’s cadets showcased strength, endurance, and teamwork throughout the two-day competition, earning multiple top finishes across events.

Walker’s results included:

  • 1st place overall – Co-Ed Masters Division National Champions

  • 1st place – Raider Gauntlet

  • 2nd place – Physical Team Test (PTT)

  • 2nd place – Cross Country Rescue (CCR)

  • 4th place – 4K Team Mountain Run

  • 7th place – One Rope Bridge

Individually, Cadet Braiden Manuel placed third in the Male Ultimate Raider event, while Cadet Sarah Duncan finished fourth in the Female Ultimate Raider competition.

School officials praised the team for representing Walker High School, Walker, Louisiana, and the Marine Corps with courage, discipline, and integrity.
