Aubrey Davis was crowned South Fork Junior High’s first homecoming queen during the school’s homecoming football game against Westside Junior High School.
Before the crowning, the school’s 11-member homecoming court was recognized during a walk of honor across the field.
The sixth-grade homecoming maids were Zari Cross, Alecia Paul, and Grace Spell.
Cross enjoys dancing, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, shopping, and traveling. She participates in cheerleading, track and field, and dance. She hopes to pursue a career in real estate and development.
Paul enjoys shopping, baking, and decorating. She plays volleyball and hopes to become a makeup artist.
Spell enjoys fashion, shopping, and bedazzling. A competitive dancer, she dedicates 9½ hours each week to dance practice. She aspires to become an anesthesiologist.
The seventh-grade homecoming maids were Jordyn Cain, Cha’kayla Critney, and Aria Maxfield.
Cain enjoys arts and crafts, doing her nails, dancing, and playing games. She also enjoys cycling, walking in the park, riding ATVs, and caring for livestock. She hopes to become a pediatric nurse.
Critney stays active through volleyball, track, flag football, and workouts at home. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball with her brothers and watching her favorite television shows. She also hopes to become a pediatric nurse.
Maxfield enjoys playing soccer, drawing, listening to K-pop, watching anime, spending time with friends, and swimming. She participates in cross country and soccer and dreams of becoming a professional soccer player.
The eighth-grade homecoming maids were Addaly Barraza, Aubrey Davis, Jaicee Morris, Livi Slocum, and Madison White.
Barraza enjoys bedazzling, shopping, and making TikToks. She participates in cheerleading and hopes to become an esthetician.
Davis enjoys cooking, attending pool parties, and styling hair. She participates in cheerleading, track, and band. She hopes to attend the Culinary Institute of America and become a chef.
Morris enjoys playing softball, spending time with friends, and making TikToks. She also enjoys coloring, cleaning, baking, and completing DIY projects. She aspires to become a pediatrician.
Slocum enjoys spending time with friends, making TikToks, and doing makeup. She participates in cheerleading and enjoys volunteering and helping others. She hopes to continue serving others by becoming a doctor.
White enjoys volleyball, cross country, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. She dreams of becoming a registered nurse.
Following the court presentation, Davis was announced as South Fork Junior High’s inaugural homecoming queen. Kenly Taylor, Walker Junior High’s previous homecoming queen, crowned Davis, while South Fork Junior High Principal Jeffery Watts presented her with a sash.
