DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — Empire Wingz has landed in Livingston Parish, and owner Vic Smith brought a good story with it. The wing spot, now open at 120 Bass Pro Blvd., Suite E, near Bass Pro Shops, started as a pop-up tent slinging wings outside a nightclub, where people showed up just for the food. That love of good wings and a little entrepreneurial grit grew into nine locations, with Denham Springs marking the ninth.
There's a flavor for every kind of wing lover on the menu, and regulars swear by the Deucey juice and VJ fries.
