If you need a new book for your TBR list, you’ve come to the right place – here are the Livingston Parish Library book club selections for August!  

All LPL branches host monthly book clubs for adults, and each club features a different “Book of the Month.” For more information on a particular book club, please call the branch. 

Joyful Reads Book Club  

Meeting time, date, and location 
10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at the South Branch 

August selection: “Shelterwood” by Lisa Wingate 
A sweeping novel inspired by the untold history of women pioneers who fought to protect children caught in the storm of land barons hungry for power and oil wealth. 

Sunny Side Up Inspirational Book Club

August selection: “The Lost Boys of Barlowe Theater” by Jaime Jo Wright

Spine Tinglers Book Club

Box of Chocolates Book Club

August selection: “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt

ASB Book Club
