The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce joined its counterparts from Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, and Washington parishes at the Louisiana State Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday, March 11, for the 3rd Annual I-12 Corridor Day at the Capitol.

The drop-in event, held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., brought together elected officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders from across the four-parish region to collaborate on issues affecting the corridor. Collectively, the region is home to more than 15,000 businesses and a combined population exceeding 600,000 — including three of the fastest-growing parishes in the state.

Attendees had the opportunity to connect with state legislators and local officials as the legislative session was underway, with light refreshments on hand throughout the afternoon.
