With food costs continuing to strain many families, the Iota Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi is stepping up to help. As part of its Sorority Service goals, the chapter collected and donated specific food items to Mighty Moms, a Livingston Parish nonprofit that provides consistent, compassionate access to food for children and families in need.
Mighty Moms’ mission is simple yet powerful — to ensure that no child in Livingston Parish faces hunger alone. The organization operates several community-based programs, including a food pantry and weekend meal bags for students, designed to bridge the gap for families experiencing food insecurity.
Members of the Iota Master Chapter showed their support through generous donations that will help Mighty Moms continue its vital work during the holiday season and beyond.
