Denham Springs, La. — Denham Springs School Board Member Jeff Frizell has announced he will seek re-election to the District 3 Seat of the Livingston Parish School Board. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, with Early Voting Oct. 20-27.

Frizell has served on the board for the past four years. He has 24 years of experience in the Livingston Parish School System, having served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, district supervisor and school board member over that time.

Frizell was selected to serve as principal of Juban Parc Junior High when it first opened in 2010. In that role, he oversaw numerous construction projects and managed the campus's full start-up. Afterward, he served as the district’s Transportation Supervisor before retiring with 20 years in the system.

Frizell took on a second career as Market Manager for Louisiana at AEG Vision, where he manages all human resources duties for more than 50 employees across five locations. He oversees recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities.

“I am excited about the opportunity to represent our parents, students and teachers of District 3, and to put my experience and knowledge to work for the system and parish that I so love,” Frizell said.

Frizell and his wife, Amy Feucht Frizell, recently celebrated 27 years of marriage. They have two daughters: Mallory (22), a graduate of Denham Springs High School and Southeastern Louisiana University; and Ava (17), a senior at Denham Springs High School. Amy teaches at Northside Elementary School.

“Having family in the school system allows me to be fully invested and get the perspective of other viewpoints, which is necessary when making important decisions that our district will face over the coming years,” Frizell said. “I will continue to work tirelessly to support programs and curriculum development, update facilities and infrastructure, and ensure the safety of students and school personnel remains a top priority.”
