A rumor for nearly a decade, and hinted at a recent Livingston Parish Council meeting, may be official.
LACDB is a database of commercial listings across the state, and an updated listing at Juban Crossing as of November 20 states the following -
"Target is coming soon to Juban Crossing! Scheduled to close in mid-November, Target will be constructing a 128,000 sq/ft store at the Northwest corner of Juban Road and Juban Crossing Boulevard. In addition to 75,000 sq/ft of junior anchor space adjacent to Target, there will be five to six outparcels along both roads. Available for ground lease only, and subject to some existing restrictions. Email agent for latest site plan and availability.
More info to come."
Target has not yet added Denham Springs / Juban Crossing to their list of upcoming stores, but you can track the official announcement at their website here.
The listing for those outparcels, which are businesses attached or near to the Target store, are listed by Jonathan Walker, CCIM of Maestri-Murrill.
Roughly six weeks ago, Parish Councilman John Wascom had something to share at the group's second board meeting in September.
"Real quick," Wascom started, "While we're on (Juban Crossing), I know there's talking about some of the future businesses that are coming, just for good measure. I believe, if I'm not mistaken, Target, Burlington Coat Factory, like Celebration Station. Help me out, sporting goods. Okay? Well, I know there might be some that we're not supposed to talk about, but I'm just letting you know it's really an exciting time for Livingston Parish, especially Juban Crossing. So thank you all so much."
