DENHAM SPRINGS — A juvenile was taken into custody after Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives recovered two vehicles stolen from the Arden Park Apartment Complex, authorities said.
According to LPSO, a Kia was stolen from the complex Aug. 7, and a Hyundai was stolen Aug. 9.
“Today, while actively looking for the vehicles, detectives located the stolen Kia abandoned near the complex in a nearby subdivision,” Sheriff Jason Ard said. “Also today, detectives located a juvenile male driving the stolen Hyundai in the same subdivision. The juvenile has been linked to both thefts.”
The juvenile was transported to the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
