Regardless of what happens on the football field, basketball court or baseball field later this school year, Live Oak High School owns Denham Springs High in the ÒGorilla Game.Ó The Denham Springs and Live Oak Key Club chapters squared off at their annual installation supper at Live Oak cafeteria Sept. 23, sponsored by the Denham Springs Kiwanis Club. Maybe it was home court advantage as students from the two clubs matched up to duel with imaginary choices of a gorilla, which gets the man, which gets the gun, which gets the gorilla.
