A Live Oak coach was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on Memorial Day.
Stepfan Henderson (Male, 34 years old) was detained on three felony counts:

Henderson, a defensive backs coach with the football team, was hired in May of 2024 by the high school.
The Livingston Parish School System released the following statement -
The Livingston Parish Public School System has learned of the arrest of Stepfan Henderson, a former teacher and former coach at Live Oak High School, in connection with allegations of wrongful conduct.
Henderson was placed on administrative leave on April 16 immediately following a report to the school's administrative office. School leaders immediately contacted the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO) requesting an investigation and the district's Human Resources office to take action according to policy.
Henderson was in his second year of employment with the district. He taught Business English and Technical Writing, and he served as an assistant football coach.
Henderson's contract was set to end the last day of the 2025-2026 school year, and his employment with the district has not been renewed.
The Livingston Parish Public School System prioritizes the safety and well-being of its students and is committed to maintaining a safe learning environment.
School leaders will continue to work with the LPSO regarding this matter.
