Livingston Parish Public Schools sponsoring career fair for all job classifications

LIVINGSTON, La. — Livingston Parish Public Schools will sponsor a Career Fair for all job classifications across the district on March 25 at Southside Junior High, at 26535 La. Highway in Denham Springs. Job Interviews will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The district is looking to hire regular and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, librarians, food service technicians, IT technicians, transportation workers and bus drivers, building maintenance workers and custodial staff.

Job applicants will be able to meet one-on-one with school principals and district representatives to learn what opportunities are available in the system and with its individual school campuses. “Whether someone is ready to secure a position for the upcoming school year, or they simply want to explore their options, we would love to talk to them and introduce them to the many great opportunities in our school system,” LPPS Human Resources Supervisor Bryan Wax said.
