LIVINGSTON PARISH — The Livingston Parish Office of President Randy Delatte has received a $10,000 grant from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund to support upcoming environmental initiatives, including the parish’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event scheduled for Nov. 1, 2025.

The funds will also bolster the parish’s ongoing Litter Abatement Program, aimed at reducing illegal dumping and promoting safer, cleaner neighborhoods.

“This partnership reflects our continued commitment to protecting our environment and improving the quality of life in Livingston Parish,” Delatte said.

Weyerhaeuser, a leading forestry company, has invested heavily in environmental and community-focused efforts. In 2024, the company’s Giving Fund distributed $6.5 million in charitable grants, partnerships, and in-kind donations across the U.S. and Canada.
