LIVINGSTON PARISH — Residents are invited to share their ideas on how to make the parish safer during an upcoming hazard mitigation plan update meeting.

The meeting is set for Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at Denham Springs City Court, 116 N. Range Ave. Community members can attend in person or join virtually through the City of Denham Springs Mayor and City Council website. A recording will be available afterward.

The parish’s hazard mitigation plan serves as a roadmap for reducing damage from storms, floods, and other disasters. Officials say public feedback will help identify local hazards, shape mitigation strategies, and strengthen the community’s resilience.
