BATON ROUGE — Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry unveiled the state’s 2026 “I Voted” sticker Tuesday at the Old Governor’s Mansion.
The sticker features artwork by New Orleans artist Terrance Osborne, who said the design was inspired by what Louisiana might look like if its sound could be seen.
The unveiling marks the sixth sticker in Louisiana’s artist-designed series and the program’s 10th anniversary. The series began in 2016 with George Rodrigue’s iconic Blue Dog artwork. Other featured artists have included Tony Bernard, Becky Fos, and William Joyce.
Osborne attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and earned a fine arts degree from Xavier University. His work celebrating New Orleans and Louisiana culture has been selected as the official New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival poster six times.
“When people vote and get their ‘I Voted’ sticker, they’re excited. They put it on their shirt, and it shows that they’ve officially voted,” Osborne said. “To be a part of that, of that symbol of voting, is something that I couldn’t be more excited about.”
