Staff report
Friday afternoon, September 12, Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO) Burglary Detectives were conducting surveillance in the Juban Crossing area for possible retail theft when a vehicle of interest (2025 Ford Bronco) ran the red light at Juban and I-12.

"(Sheriff's deputies) initiated a traffic stop near Satsuma," Sheriff Jason Ard said in a statement. "At first, the driver of that Bronco appeared to comply - that was brief.
"The driver quickly took off back onto I-12, was reckless, and eventually crashed," Sheriff Ard continued. "The driver - now identified as Jomall Glenn - exited the vehicle through the windshield and attempted to avoid arrest on foot."
Glenn was eventually apprehended following a struggle with the deputies. Afterward, Glenn and his passenger were transported for treatment of minor injuries. According to the sheriff's report, there will be no charges for the passenger.
"Glenn did hit another vehicle," Sheriff Ard said. "Thankfully, no injuries were reported there.
"We should also note that the Bronco is a vehicle of interest in an ongoing retail theft investigation in Livingston Parish and possibly other jurisdictions and states. Our investigation continues.”

Jomall Glenn, 33, was booked Friday into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on various charges.
