On Sunday, August 30, 2026, Michele and John Murrill celebrated the upcoming arrival of Baby Murrill with a beautifully curated baby shower featuring both bakery and storybook themes at a private residence in Baton Rouge.
The couple welcomed their closest family and friends for an afternoon filled with laughter, nostalgia, and joy. Since Michele enjoys baking bread, the theme was playfully named ‘There’s a Bun in the Oven.’
The hosts—Cait Duncan, Kim Drury, Grace Williams, Ari Lord, Megan Ryburn, Marisa Stelly, Reese Stelly, Kate Stelly, Rhonda Ryburn, and Liz Murrill—helped transform the venue into a cozy library for the new arrival.
Guests contributed books to start the baby's first library and were greeted with pastel balloons, storybooks, floral arrangements, cakes, sweet treats, raffles, catering by BRQ, and Mommy Mimosas served by B&B Staff Tenders. Highlights included a heartwarming slideshow of the couple, all beautifully captured by Whitney Marie Photography.
