A grand opening celebration for the Patriots RV Resort in Satsuma will be held July 4, with an amphitheater concert beginning at 11:30 a.m. and a fireworks display after dark. Admission to the amphitheater is free to Patriots guests and the general public.

Local officials and business leaders will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony ahead of the grand opening at the resort property on Thursday, July 2, beginning at 9 a.m. Livingston Parish President Randy Delatte and other local officials will speak. Members of the media are invited to attend.

The July 4 concert will feature performances by Chloe Harrison, Madelynn Johnston, and headliners Shawn Allen and Titanium Rain. Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser will speak to attendees at 1 p.m.

The resort offers a variety of family entertainment options, including fishing, pickleball, a lazy river, a kiddie pool, and an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar. A centrally located lodge features refreshments, including Sheri's bar, and food trucks will be on location at the amphitheater.

"Our resort is designed to offer a premier, state-of-the-art entertainment destination where luxury meets family fun in a safe and welcoming environment," said Patriots RV Resort Manager Hope Courtney.

The resort currently features 91 extra-wide, full-hookup RV and camper sites, as well as 12 fully furnished two-story cottages.

Each RV and camper site has a 20-foot concrete pad with pull-through or back-in options. Hookup amenities include water, sewer, and electric connections for 20-, 30-, and 50-amp outlets. High-speed, fiber-backed WiFi is available throughout the property.

The cottages offer full lake views and are furnished with two queen beds, linens, Smart TVs, and kitchens equipped with appliances, cookware, and utensils.
