Inside Denham Springs Old City Hall on Pioneer Day, many displays were shown of things from the past. The New Empire Sewing Machine belonged to Sarah Elizabeth Edwards Warner, who was born in 1885. She lived on a 60 acre farm on Eden Church Road, where Eden Place subdivision is now located.

An Underwood Typewriter was displayed in the Denham Springs Old City Hall for Pioneer Day. The Underwood Typewriter Company was a manufacturer of typewriters headquartered in New York City. Underwood produced what is considered the first widely successful, modern typewriter. By 1939, Underwood had produced five million machines.
